Jonathan Odame is an Educationist and Senior Clinical Psychologist. He hold a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology with the Study of Religions and an MPhil in Clinical Psychology both from the University of Ghana. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Adult Education and Human Resource Studies at the University of Ghana.
In the light of the above, he has received a number of international awards and fellowships such as the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperations, Je'cial Commonwealth Assistance for Africa Programme, UNAIDS -The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS awarded by the State of Israel, a fellow of the Singapore Civil Aviation Authority, a fellow of the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Chiang Mai in Thailand as well as a fellow of the V.V.GRI National Labour Institute, Noida, India. He was a visiting scholar at the Julius Maximillian University of Wurzburg, Germany in 2019 under the DAAD Scholarship (Funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany) and participated in the Business School for the World, 2018 in Kenya under the INSEAD Scholarship. He has been working and applying psychological principles to improve the reading, learning process and educational success for children. Over the years, he has been conducting individual assessments with children to determine how their underlying cognitive processes are influencing their levels of learning, reading, educational achievement and academic success.
